Oliver Czulo

Oliver is a professor in Translatology with a specialization in data-based semantic research. He studied Computational Linguistics in Saarbrücken and completed his PhD in Translation Studies. The academic path has taken him through Prague, Germersheim, Berkeley and Leipzig. He believes that Translatology is a science of mutual understanding.

Maryam Foradi

Maryam, a Translatologist in both academia and practical application, started her academic journey in Tehran, immersing herself in Translation Studies. In Leipzig, pursuing a PhD in Digital Humanities, she worked on concepts to make world literature universally accessible. As a spirited translator and interpreter, Maryam dreams of creating an inclusive space where every language has a chance to be understood.
