Cooperation agreement signed between Translate Science and Institut für Translatologie

The Institut für Translatologie gGmbH (IfTra) and the Translate Science Initiative have formalised their informal cooperation with a signed agreement. Translate Science is an all-volunteer community of interest for multilingual open science sharing opportunities and perspectives about how a more multilingual and open scientific enterprise can be achieved.

With Oliver Czulo being part of the core contributers of the initiative, IfTra had already been an active part of the initiative, collaborating on planing and delivering activities such as panels, seminars or prereview events and on creating resources such as a wiki and a bibliography on topics around a more multilingual and thus more open and inclusive science.

The cooperation agreement also states that IfTra will be funding a part of the digital infrastructure of Translate Science, thus aiding in the networking facilities of the initiative. Both IfTra and Translate Science are looking forward to continuing the years-long cooperation in the interest of multilingual open science.
